Typical Waste Wood Shredding Process

1. Manual Pre-sorting Remove oversized debris and non-wood contaminants before feeding into the shredder.
2. Primary Shredding Reduce wood waste into coarse chips using a Twin-Shaft Shredder or, for bulky or contaminated loads, a Quad-Shaft Shredder.
3. Secondary Size Reduction Achieve desired chip size with a Powerful Crusher or Hammer Mill for finer outputs.
4. Screening & Sizing Separate chips by size using a Hexagonal Drum Screen or a Rectangular Vibrating Screen.
5. Metal Removal Extract nails, screws, and bolts using a Plug-in Magnetic Separator for ferrous metals and an Eddy Current Separator for non-ferrous recovery.
6. Air Separation Remove light contaminants and dust using an Air-Blow Separator; for density-based refinement, apply a Gravity Separator.
7. Final Collection Collect processed wood chips for fuel, recycling, or further manufacturing.
